The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a heartbreaking loss against the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of the first-round playoffs. With that loss, the postseason for the Lakers came to an end.

However, after the round mound of rebound, Charles Barkley was left irritated by LeBron James after the game.

LeBron James delivered an outstanding performance on Monday night but sadly failed to keep the Lakers Nation’s hopes alive.

The basketball megastar took a lot of time to appear at the post-game conference as well, and it left Barkley irritated. The NBA icon made sarcastic remarks towards the unpunctual Lakers star on live television.

“We are not leaving Americ until LeBron comes out and speaks. There’s no way we are going off TV without the King talking. I guarantee!” said Charles Barkley. The ‘Inside the NBA’ host was clearly very irritated with King James. The reason for his annoyance was LeBron’s unpunctual behavior towards the post-game conference.

Barkley, Shaq, and the Inside the NBA crew were supposed to cover Bron’s interview. However, they had to wait a long time because the King wasn’t done with his post-game antics.

This is not the first time Barkley has been annoyed with LeBron for not appearing early in a post-game conference. The All-Star had expressed his annoyance during Game 3 as well when LeBron James was showering for a long time and was late for the conference.

LeBron James is doubtful on his future with the Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers megastar LeBron James has recently denied answering a few questions related to his future in the post-game conference following a Game 5 loss against the Nuggets.

A reporter asked King James if Game 5 were the last time the fans would see him playing in a Lakers jersey.

“I’m not going to answer that,” replied LeBron, keeping his thoughts to himself. The future Hall of Famer has made a lot of Lakers fans worried about his future with his answer.

Many analysts have already started speculating about James’ next move and the team he would probably play for. However, it is to be remembered that the Lakers star has neither confirmed nor denied it.

So only time will tell what basketball’s megastar will decide in this off-season.
