LeBron James lost his cool on the LA Lakers head coach Darvin Ham and his coaching staff after they refused to challenge an essential decision in the vital playoff game against the Denver Nuggets.

The LA side had a win-or-go-home game on Saturday night as they entered the court with a 3-0 loss in the series. Despite knowing that one slip could ruin their dream, Ham decided not to challenge a call.

With around six minutes remaining in the game, LeBron was deemed to have tapped the ball outside the court.

As he didn’t have a touch on the ball, he tried to convince Ham and his staff to challenge the call by stating, “I did not touch the ball”. On being ignored, he was spotted throwing his arm out and jumping in anger saying, “Challenge the f*cking play!” The 39-year-old wasn’t done venting out as he kept murmuring for the next couple of seconds directing at the Lakers bench.

Taking advantage of the situation, the Nuggets added a quick basket. Despite the Denver squad putting up a great fight in the latter half, the night ended 119-108 in favor of the Lakers, while LeBron James unlocked a new accomplishment.

LeBron James Joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar To Make NBA History

Even after loitering just under 40 years of age, LeBron James displayed a top performance on the hardwood in purple and gold.

Showing his superhuman side, LeBron hit 23 shots from the field, out of which 14 smoothly passed through the rim. Though he did not have much luck from downtown, his two free throws were accurately shot.

By putting up 30 points on the Lakers’ scoreboard in Game 4, LeBron imprinted his name alongside NBA legends Kareem-Abdul Jabbar, Karl Malone, and Reggie Miller as the only players to score such a massive number after the age of 39.

Apart from bagging the historic feat, LeBron grabbed 5 rebounds, nabbed 3 steals, and a block in the 39 minutes of the game.

With LeBron James vigorously leading the Lakers’ offense, the Los Angeles side snatched their first win after eleven disappointing losses to the Nuggets and kept their playoff hopes alive.

Their upcoming game on Monday evening will be another deciding one for LeBron and Co., as every game will be a knockout game for the joint record winners of the NBA.
