Prince Harry is said to be “concerned” for his sister-in-law Kate Middleton amid conspiracies and speculation surrounding the Princess of Wales, with the Duke of Sussex even “distracted” from his life as discourse surrounding Kate grows.

Back in January, it was announced that Kate had undergone abdominal surgery at the London Clinic in the capital. She then stayed in the hospital for 13 days following her operation, with the Princess then heading home to recuperate.

Amid the announcement of Kate’s abdominal surgery, the Palace also said that it was likely that the public would not see the Princess again until after Easter, which falls on March 31 this year. But in recent weeks, speculation as to how the Princess is really doing has spiralled.

On Mother’s Day, Princess Kate shared a sweet family snap of herself with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. It was thought at first that the image would silence any speculation surrounding the Princess as she recovers from surgery, but it ended up fueling it.

It soon emerged that the image was issued with a “kill notification” following rumours on social media that it had been edited. International news agencies then had the image removed the photo from their wires, claiming it appears to have been “manipulated”, with the Princess soon issuing an apology.

And as speculation surrounding Princess Kate continues to grow, despite her being seen at a farm shop in Windsor recently, Prince Harry has reportedly expressed his concern. The Duke is even said to be a little preoccupied with the current discourse surrounding his sister-in-law.

According to a new report by Page Six, the Duke of Sussex is “distracted” with concern by the headlines surrounding his brother’s wife and the way in which she has retreated from public life following a hospital stay after she underwent abdominal surgery back in January. The source also said that Harry believes “any hint of scandal is untrue”.

This comes days after a source told OK! that Prince Harry has been encouraging his wife Meghan Markle to show her support and extend an olive branch to her sister-in-law.

Speaking to the magazine, the source said: “Harry is keen for Meghan to reach out to Kate and lend her support. Harry wants his family to return to the UK and he knows that the only way that will happen is if Meghan can repair her fractured relationship with Kate.”
