LIVE Royal Family LIVE: Harry and Meghan handed brutal six-word warning ahead of next royal reunion

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be returning to the UK very soon, but they’ve been given a warning before they reunite with the Royal Family.

The Duke of Sussex has been open about his plans to return to the UK and it looks like they could be happening sooner than fans realised. Harry is expected to make a rare trip back to the UK next month for a special event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The event will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8. It’s currently unclear if Meghan will join her husband at the event, but one royal expert has warned they “still have some way to go” before their joint UK return.

Meanwhile, troops applauded Edward, Duke of Kent, as he attended his final Black Sunday parade as Colonel of the Scots Guards before he handed the role to the Duke of Edinburgh.

Earlier today it was reported members of the Royal Family enjoy giving each other cheeky nicknames. One royal once gave away a rather unflattering three-word nickname they gave to Prince William – and ended up in “so much trouble”. It came when Mike Tindall , the husband of King Charles’ niece Zara Tindall let slip his moniker for the Prince of Wales.

Meghan and Harry ‘return to their roots’ with new ventures but there is one issue, says PR guru

In the view of one public relations guru, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have “returned to their roots” with their list of new ventures, with one issue also highlighted amid the Duchess’ new podcast deal.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently unveiled their new upcoming Netflix projects. The Duke will be releasing a show focusing on polo, while the Duchess is set to release a show around cooking and gardening.

The Netflix announcements, amid the couple’s multi-million-dollar deal with the streaming platform, come shortly after Meghan announced her new brand, American Riviera Orchard. And with these exciting projects on the horizon, it seems that the couple’s rebrand is going swimmingly.

Speaking about the couple’s rebrand exclusively to The Mirror, Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR gushed about the Sussexes’ “passion projects” when she said: “Meghan and Harry have returned to their roots with their new ventures, both of which sound very much like passion projects.”

She added: “They will be very mindful of the success needed for these TV shows particularly their $100 Netflix deal, which is set to expire in early 2025.

“To maintain their viewers’ attention a garner popularity they need them to be a hits. The couple will either want their Netflix deal renewed or to find another deal, potentially with Paramount, but again it will also depend on the success of their TV ventures this year.”

Exclusive: Meghan Markle caught in ‘exaggerated’ embrace with pal as she plays up to cameras in new snaps

Meghan Markle put on what was described as a “very exaggerated display” when embracing her close pal Delfina Blaquier – while filming for her latest Netflix project.

The Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry united with their close friends Nacho Figueras and his wife Delfina Blaquier in Palm Beach, Florida, to film for a Netflix shoot. The group were spotted taking part in a fundraising polo match for Harry’s charity, Sentebale.

During the filming, Meghan was seen warmly embracing Delfina and chatting happily with Nacho. According to body language expert Judi James, the tactile displays from Meghan seemed “extreme” as she played up for the cameras.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Judi said: “It’s such a useful coincidence that, just as Meghan is said to be promoting the subject of friendship for one of her Netflix series, she is here putting on a very exaggerated body language display of exactly that type of relationship.

“Meghan is known for her PDAs and tactile displays of warmth to both Harry and to various people she meets and supports with her causes but this is probably a new angle on her personal brand.”

Meghan Markle suffers awkward moment as she asks woman to move away from Prince Harry

Meghan Markle had an awkward moment during the recent Sentebale polo tournament – where she asked a woman not to pose next to Prince Harry.

The couple were in attendance at the Sentebale Polo Cup, which is held annually in aid of Sentebale, the charity Harry co-founded in 2006. For the event, Harry captained the Royal Salute Sentebale Team against the Grand Champions Team, with his team winning triumphantly and Meghan presenting her husband with the trophy before they kissed in front of everyone at the event.

But in footage that has emerged since, it appears that Meghan requested a woman in a white dress to move to the middle of the group and away from her husband Prince Harry, so that Meghan could be next to her man. In a clip showing the awkward exchange circulating online, Harry kept his arm around Meghan while she spoke to the lady and seemingly insisted that she stand beside her husband for the photo opportunity.

The awkward moment was captured in a video clip, which is currently circulating online

Prince William’s blunt three-word nickname let slip by royal

Members of the Royal Family may be laden with fancy names and grand titles – but it seems they love nothing better than giving each other cheeky nicknames.

One royal once gave away a rather unflattering three-word nickname they gave to Prince William – and ended up in “so much trouble”. It came when Mike Tindall, the husband of King Charles’ niece Zara Tindall let slip his moniker for the Prince of Wales.

Former rugby player Mike made the admission on a special podcast he recorded alongside Zara, with Rugby League legend Rob Burrow, who is living with Motor Neurone Disease. During the chat, Rob was keen to know if the pair have any nicknames for each other or for other members of the Royal Family, including William, Kate, King Charles or Queen Camilla.

Duke of Edinburgh takes on new role as incumbent stands down after five decades

The Duke of Edinburgh has taken on a new role as he was named the new Colonel of the Scots Guards at a ceremony today.

Troops applauded Edward, Duke of Kent, as he attended his final Black Sunday parade as before he handed the role to the Duke of Edinburgh. The 88-year-old cousin of the Queen was appointed to the position in 1974 after nearly two decades of military service, starting his career as a Second Lieutenant with the Royal Scots Greys in 1955.

He said: “Serving as Colonel of the Scots Guards since 1974, the longest anyone has spent in this role, has been a true honour and one which will forever fill me with great joy. Through those years, I have seen the work of the Scots Guards during peacetime and war and witnessed their bravery, selfless courage and devotion to duty.”
