Caitlin Clark is on the first page of most sports news outlets after her record-breaking scoring season with the Iowa Hawkeyes as they head to the NCAA championship finals, and with fame comes scrutiny from different sides, including the WNBA.

Caitlin Clark received criticism from Kelsey Plum

On a recent ESPN broadcast, Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum shared her real thoughts on broadcast Caitlin Clarck, claiming she doesn’t shoot logo threes because she has A’ja Wilson on the block.

“You know why I don’t shoot logo threes? Because A’ja Wilson’s on the block,” she said, right after, the broadcast, basketball fans criticized Plum for going hard on Caitlin, “That was some real S- from Kelsey,” a fan elaborated.

That comment will be put to the test after Caitlin Clark heads directly to the WNBA herself and I looking to make the best at her last championship of her NCAA career.

When asked about her emotions during the championship, she remained cool, calm, and collected, however, she believes when the buzzer sounds, it will be a tidal wave of emotions “I don’t have many emotions of, like, this is the end for me. I certainly know it is, but I don’t think I can go into the game feeling that. I don’t think that would allow me to play my best. I think once the buzzer hits zero, whether we win or whether we lose, I’ll definitely be hit with a wave of emotion, especially over the course of the next week, as things kind of change in my life quite a bit.”

Retired WNBA star Sheryl Swoopes also took some shots at Caitlin Clark but reportedly already apologized to the NCAA phenomenon.
