LEVI Roots doubled down on calling Colson Smith the most “boring” Celebrity Big Brother housemate after he was evicted last night.

The chef made the remark about the Coronation Street actor during a game earlier in the week and it left Colson sobbing in the toilets.

During a Jelly Bean Task on Big Brother, the stars had to take turns standing up and eating a jelly bean.

If the jelly bean was sweet, they had to answer a nice, lighthearted question.

However, if the jelly bean was sour, they had to answer a challenging question, selecting a housemate who was most likely to have a negative attribute chosen by Big Brother.

Unfortunately for Levi he was then told to select the “most boring” housemate, opting for Colson.

However, after being evicted from the house he revealed that his opinion shifted after Colson excelled in the X Factor-style task.

Asked about the moment that changed his fortunes with viewers, who voted him out, Levi said: “He was really boring.”

But Levi also said he helped Colson when they took part in the X Factor challenge and formed a boy band, but viewers didn’t see it on screen.

Explaining his ‘boring’ comment, he said: “Because I think by the time we got to that singing competition he couldn’t walk, he had two left feet, I had to take him into the bathroom, I had to show him how to walk, show him the lyrics.

“When I had to do that competition and read out the fact, I was trying to pick him up, I was trying to get him to overcome that situation.

“And that made him ‘not boring’, and I was just trying to express to him. But maybe I had chosen the wrong word.

“I apologised three times.”

Asked if he regretted his comments, he added: “No. I would say it was him, but I probably wouldn’t use those words.”

Despite his comments, viewers are now backing Colson to win.

One said: “I actually really like Colson – he’s unaffected, sweet & good humoured. I think he might actually win.”
