LOVE Island fans were left horrified as they spotted a “disgusting” detail in Ella Thomas and Catherine Agbaje’s dinner date snap.

Ella, 24, headed out for a night out with best pal Catherine to a swanky bar and restaurant.

But the duo were also joined by Ella’s Pomeranian dog.

Her pooch was pictured on the table in a pet carrier bag.

But not all followers were impressed by the sight of her pooch on a restaurant table and said it was “inappropriate” and “unhygienic”.

One wrote: “Nova is adorable but she needs to figure out how to take care of the dog while living alone in a city and the answer is not taking her everywhere with you.”

The answer is not to take the dog with her everywhere because some places like indoor dining and restaurants are just not okay to have a dog at – let alone put on the damn table.

“The way I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw her do that.

“It’s just gross and inappropriate for the other people there eating their food.”

A third said: “Yuck! I would have told her to stay at home with that damn dog.”

“I’m watching Catherine’s snaps and she’s having dinner with Ella and there’s no way Ella put the dog on dinner table (granted her dog was in a carrier purse).

“I own a dog myself but I just think there’s just a certain etiquette to bringing your dogs to places, especially restaurants,” this person wrote.”

While another angry social media user shared: “I never understood why people feel they have the right to just bring their dogs anywhere. You go out for dinner and now you’re sitting across from their dog like…”

This person echoed: “She brings that dog everywhere, it’s mad. Like the dog can go a few hours home alone.

“Putting a dog on a table is disgusting. You’re eating there and respectfully your dog is not the cleanest thing in the world.”

Ella and Ty at war

Ella and Tyrique Hyde were first reported to have split in late February after seven months together, following ‘crisis talks’ to mend the romance that went nowhere.

They had previously split in November last year but got back together.

At the time, there was an unnamed source confirming the split, with the pair unfollowing each other on social media shortly thereafter.

Today, after over a month of silence, the couple have both spoken out about the end of their relationship – with both taking a stand about the need to make it so public.

Ella was first to respond in a Snapchat Q+A, telling fans: “Just to clear things up we’re not together.

“Didn’t speak on it while we were figuring things out and dealing with it privately.

“Both agree it’s for the best and wish him well. All love.

“Thanks to everyone that supported us together and individually.”

Tyrique hits back

A few hours later, Tyrique also fielded questions from his Snapchat followers and hit back at one fan who tried to goad him into talking about the split.

The person wrote: “Ella announced your breakup and you have nothing to f***kin say no!”

Tyrique responded: “This is my life. Did you announce your breakup to the world?

“Just becuase people on Love Island usually put out statements don’t mean I have to. That’s not my portion.

“Thank you to all my followers who show love.”

Shortly after news of their split broke, the semi-professional footballer broke his silence with a photo of a carton of milk with the phrase: “Don’t cry over spilt milk”.

“Never let a hard time humble us,” he cryptically wrote in the caption.

A source close to the couple told The Sun of their split: “They have tried really hard but just been having constant arguments.

“At the end of the day, they want different things and it’s too hard to make it work.

“They are saying it’s over for good this time and there is no going back.”
