Christine Lampard was quick to smooth over an uncomfortable moment after her fellow Lorraine co-star felt overlooked.

Andi Peters chimed in during the show to playfully chide the stand-in host for missing his earlier attempt to say hello following Wednesday’s programme on 7 August.

Broadcasting from Surrey through a video link, the competition host paused the show to point out Christine’s absence, stating: “Christine, by the way, I came by to see you yesterday, to say hello but you weren’t in your dressing room.”

He continued: “I don’t know where you were but I was going to say hello to you before seeing you on the telly, but we’re on the telly now anyway.”

In response, a somewhat sheepish Christine warmly interjected: “Awww well thank you, let’s say hello now instead.”, reports the Express.

Andi, keen to demonstrate that there were no hard feelings, replied with good humour: “You’re welcome, you’re welcome,” and they both shared a chuckle about coincidentally wearing blue, joking that they were “twinning”.
