The ‘Training Day’ Actor Hired A Professional Blunt Roller
While we keep our fingers crossed on the outcome of the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” hitmaker’s decision, it’s worth noting that his personal blunt roller, Ranagade PerRana, had previously revealed the number of joints she had rolled for him since she took over the role.
The Blast reported that Renagade had shared during an October 2022 interview that by her estimation, she has rolled “over 450,000” joints for the West Coast rapper.
After sharing that Snoop consumes approximately “half a pound a day, which is 75 to 150 joints,” she emphasized that the rapper always ensured there was a “trusty blunt” with him when leaving his home for outings or events.
Following the Doggy Style Records founder’s revelation about having a personal blunt roller, thousands of fans inquired about the hiring process for the role. Renagade provided the answer to that when she appeared on “The Review podcast.”
As she explained, she had to outperform two other candidates in a blunt “roll-off” competition. In her words:
“I had a roll-off with a sound engineer that works with Snoop, that I guess Snoop kind of recommended, and then a Venezuelan cigar roller who rolls big boy stogies at parties. And I smoked them, to say the least. So from that day forward, I was the premier blunt roller of the planet — blunt roller to the stars now.”
Luckily, Renagade’s job comes with a high price, as Snoop had informed his fans that he pays his roller approximately $40,000 to $50,000 annually and provides additional perks such as travel and complimentary weed.
Later in June 2022, the “Just Shoot Me” star shared on X that he had increased the salary for his full-time blunt roller, citing inflation as the reason.
