The versatile artist SZA leads the Grammy nominations with nine nominations, ahead of music industry heavyweights Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish, in a list dominated by women and the blockbuster “Barbie”, reports Reuters.
The winners will be announced during the awards gala that will take place on February 4.
SZA, 34, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe, was nominated for album of the year for SOS and record of the year and song of the year for Kill Bill. The artist was also nominated in several categories dedicated to pop, melodic rap, progressive and traditional R&B genres.
