The Bac Ha District Construction Investment Project Management Board has recently announced the selection of the contractor for package No. 5 to construct works under the Bac Ha District Administrative Center Headquarters project.

The new administrative center of Bac Ha district is set to be built at the location of the old headquarters of the District Party Committee and District People’s Committee.

The winning bidder for the construction project is a joint venture comprising of Duc Tuan Construction Investment Company Limited, Termite Fumigation Company Limited, and 19 – 8 Construction Company Limited.

The winning bid value is 135.022 billion VND, and the contract implementation period is set at 360 days.

The project aims to address the working needs of officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of Bac Ha district agencies. It also seeks to overcome the issue of scattered working spaces, create a formal and modern working environment, improve the efficiency of state management, and contribute to the architectural highlights and urban landscape of Bac Ha.

The architectural plan for the new administrative center of Bac Ha district is designed to be both modern and carry national cultural imprints. The construction investment scale includes a 5-storey complex headquarters building, which is designed with 3 spatial clusters arranged according to 3 terrain levels.

The northern cluster will serve as the working space for units under the People’s Committee, the central cluster will house units under the People’s Committee as well as serve as the ceremonial space and offices of district leaders, and the southern cluster will be dedicated to units of the District Party Committee.

Additionally, there will be a 2-floor high kitchen and public service room category, along with auxiliary and exterior items.

The total investment for the project amounts to 200 billion VND, sourced from centralized budget sources and the Bac Ha district budget. The project implementation period is scheduled from 2023 to 2026.
