Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson started Wednesday’s This Morning with a big thank you to viewers as they made an exciting announcement
Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson thanked viewers on Wednesday’s This Morning as they made an announcement just minutes into the show.
The dynamic duo, who are stepping in for Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, excitedly confirmed they had marked a show “milestone”.
“Hello and Welcome to Wednesdays this morning, what a nice morning,” Rylan began as Josie chimed in: “Especially with you you, honestly, he cheers up any morning.”
“It’s the turkey,” Rylan joked as he pointed to his teeth before Josie announced: “I think you look gorgeous and we’ve got some delightful news this morning, actually.
“So we want to start the show by saying a massive thank you to you that are watching at home.”
“We do because yesterday, we found out that we reached a massive milestone that wouldn’t have been possible without all of you lot,” Rylan went on.

“Yeah, thanks to your continued support, we’ve had over one billion video views on our social media platforms,” Josie beamed as gold confetti shot out of a cannon. “One million views and it’s only August.”
Praising his co-stars, Rylan said: “A massive shout out to our digital team as well. They bring you all the highlights from the show, all the behind-the-scenes gossip as well, we film that just for you, and you never get to see that on the telly. You don’t get to see it here.”
Josie added: “So do not forget, when we come off air at 12.30 there’s still loads of ways that you can watch your favorite This Morning moments.
We’re on Instagram, we’re on Facebook, Snapchat, X, and YouTube threads, and Tiktok.”
The Big Brother star concluded: “We found out someone interacts with our content once every single second. That’s ridiculous.
“So a massive thank you to you, and if you’re not following us on all of those platforms, do it now, but still watch the show.”
Josie and Rylan have teamed up to present This Morning this week – and fans are loving the pairing with some calling for the duo to be permanent.
While Cat and Ben take some time off for the summer, the show will see a rotation of presenters filling in for the show regulars.Taking to X, one fan praised: “Lovely seeing Rylan on #ThisMorning, a breath of fresh air,” while another complimented: “#ThisMorning Must say @Rylan and Josie are looking lovely this morning!”
