Caitlin Clark is quickly becoming a formidable presence on the WNBA court, much to the dismay of league defenders and the preseason has only just begun.

In a recent exhibition game on Thursday, Clark showcased her talents with the Indiana Fever against the Atlanta Dream.

This marked her home debut in Indiana, where she did not disappoint the local fans. Coming off a strong performance where she led her team with 21 points against the Dallas WingsClark continued her impressive streak.

“It was a lot of fun, I thought they were loud, I thought they were into it. It was fun to see,” Clark said.

“This is a preseason game on a Thursday night and there’s 13,000 people here. I think that just shows you what it’s going to be like for us all season. It’s going to help us.”

An impressive highlight

During the first quarter of Thursday’s matchup, Clark demonstrated her skill and agility by effortlessly slicing through four Dream defenders to go all the way to the basket and make a layup.

“My biggest goal coming into tonight was to continue to be myself, play aggressive,” Clark stressed after the game.

“I thought that’s what I did. I think there’s a lot to be proud of.

“The crowd was great all night. That’s what you expect with a sellout. Those are going to be the same for the crowds all year long. So whether they’re cheering for you or cheering against you, you’d better get used to it.”
