Everyone’s Saying The Same Thing About Caitlin Clark’s First WNBA Workout
Caitlin Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, took the court for the first time on Wednesday with her new teammate Aliyah Boston.
The NCAA’s all-time leading scorer has become a global sensation, so of course her first workout with her new franchise and teammate was sure to garner plenty of attention.
Clark and Boston, two No. 1 overall picks by the Fever, played some two-on-two against a pair of men at the Indiana Fever training facility. It was the first time the two took the court together, and it was awesome to see.
Boston, who was the No. 1 overall pick by the Fever a year ago out of South Carolina, is a star herself. Boston, in 40 games last season for the Fever, averaged 14.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
“Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark putting in work together for the first time,” posted the Indiana Fever to social media in a video that’s already received 2.5 million views.
Following the viral video, everyone said the same thing: The Fever are in for a historic run with the two superstars.
“Indiana sports fans realizing they’re about to have a legit superstar duo for the first time in 15 + years,” added another.
“Hear me clearly. These 2 about to EAT once they perfect the pick and roll. Buckle up,” another said.
