Trash-talking LeBron James is one of the most daring things a player can do in the NBA. However. Bron’s own son, Bryce James, isn’t much behind when it comes to trash talking his father. Recently, King James decided to humble him.
About a week ago, Bryce James posted some videos featuring his father on his official Instagram account. In the video, Bron and Bryce could be seen having a shootout in their backyard, shooting at a hoop pretty far away from them. Bryce playfully trash-talked his father while the shootout happened.
“You trash, you suck,” said Bryce James, mocking the future Hall of Famer. Despite his younger son’s being a nuisance, King James wasn’t bothered.
He sank in all his shots and responded to Bryce with a daunting reply. “I’m [the] G.O.A.T., bro. G-O-A-T! What’re you talking about, Stop playing with me,” said King James.
After LeBron James’ shooting masterclass, it was Bryce’s turn to show his expertise in shooting.
However, the 16-year-old couldn’t replicate his father’s brilliance, hitting the rim on most of his shots.
Bron decided to humble Bryce a bit and tease him. “That was too much rim, champ,” said Bron. Looking at the videos, one might think that Bryce James isn’t a good shooter from range, but that is not the truth. The Sierra Canyon star has proven himself to be one of the best shooters on his team.
Bryce James kicks off EYBL season with a bang
The fourteenth season of the Nike EYBL (Elite Youth Basketball League) just kicked off in Memphis with much hype and fanfare surrounding it.
Bryce James is one of the biggest attractions of the tournament, having the eyes of many media houses set on him as he makes his U17 debut. Bryce’s team SFG (Strive for Greatness) kicked off their campaign incredibly, defeating ‘Why Not’ by 11 points.
Following SFG’s win, Bryce’s mother, Savannah James, instantly took to Instagram to congratulate his son and his team.
However, since winning their first matchup, SFG has failed to maintain their momentum and has lost three consecutive games. It is just the start of the tour, and the fans can expect a comeback from Bryce’s side.
