Not at the moment, no. Wembanyama strings together monster performances and happens to be the leader in terms of counterattacks. A ranking that he should win at the end of the season. If we add the rookie of the year and a good place for the DPOY, ahead of Rudy Gobert for some , Victor certainly deserves a place of choice.
Crazy that it’s not even a stretch. I know we want to build a team around him “the right way” but if they send a haul of picks for Trae Young, and draft an elite 3&D wing with our pick – Trae/Vassell/Risacher/Sochan/Wemby would be a lot of fun and instantly competitive

Victor Wembanyama has just taken on a new dimension with his recent performances. Simple rookie, 20 years old or not, the Frenchman has just hit very hard in the NBA.
