“We’re going to celebrate this one,” Huskies coach Geno Auriemma said after the victory.

“The resilience of this team is remarkable. They inspire me to be better for them.”

Qerim was in a celebratory mood after the Huskies secured yet another championship with victory at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

She tweeted a snap of the team celebrating the win over Georgetown to her 315,000 followers.

“Confetti showers never get old,” read the caption from the team’s official X account.

“This photo is pure fire,” responded one fan.

“It was even sweeter this year with all the injuries,” said another.

“Just such a fun team to watch,” added a third.

The No.10 ranked Huskies find out their March Madness bracket this upcoming Selection Sunday.

Based on the selection committee’s final top-16 ranking released on February 29, UConn’s bracket would include No.2 UCLA and No.3 Virginia Tech.
