The wife of a former teammate of Kansas City Chief Harrison Butker has joined the growing number of people blasting the kicker for his ‘propaganda’ speech.

Backlash to Butker’s speech at Benedictine College in Kansas has been swift after the kicker professed about how ‘the most important’ title a woman could have is to be a home maker.

Brooke Schwartz, the wife of ex-Chief Mitch Schwartz, publicly condemned the kicker’s comments.

‘I’m going to sound controversial since Mitch was teammates with him for many years. I’ve stayed quiet about a lottttt of things but this is absolutely go gross and backwards to me,’ she posted in an Instagram story.

‘”All of my success is made possible …etc…. because my wife embraced the most important title of all, homemaker.”

‘This is what we’re telling young women graduating college? That the most important thing they can become is a homemaker??? What in the Handmaids Tale is this crap.’

She continued in another story: ‘And telling young women on their college graduation day, after years of hard work, that the thing they probably most look forward to in life is becoming someone’s wife….I beg your pardon?

‘I value and respect whatever a woman chooses for her life. But it is NEVER, EVER a man’s place to tell women what their roles are. I’m sad for his daughter.’

In a third story she wrote: ‘Last thought on this. I find it odd he quoted Taylor Swift in his propaganda piece. Is he unaware of her very public views?’

Butker quoted a line from the song ‘Bejeweled’ off of Swift’s album Midnights.

“As my teammate’s girlfriend says, ‘Familiarity breeds contempt,’” Butker said in the speech.

Butker has not said anything about his controversial speech, in which, he also took time to blast President Joe Biden among other things.

His speech was criticized by a number of celebrities – including Maria Shriver, Hoda Kotb, Robert Griffin III, and Jenna Bush Hager among others.

However, Whoopi Goldberg defended Butker’s right to make such comments on ‘The View’ – saying he’s ‘welcome’ to his beliefs as a ‘staunch Catholic.’
