Travis Kelce Defends Filming Taylor Swift With His Phone During Paris Show

Travis Kelce was spotted filming girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Paris Eras Tour event with the flash turned on, and his brother, Jason Kelce, isn’t going to let him forget it. During Wednesday’s episode of their “New Heights” podcast, the former center, 36, mocked his younger brother, 34, for the fatherly move.

“You got caught pulling an Ed Kelce move here, taking a video with your flash on,” Jason stated. “What are you doing, Trav?” “You are supposed to be better than this.” The Kansas City Chiefs star attempted to excuse himself, claiming that his phone “automatically put the flash on” since it was so “dark” in the stadium.

“I was just trying to get some good video, some good memories,” he said. “I don’t give a damn.” However, the new ESPN expert did not give up. “You probably got great video,” Jason joked. “The flash makes a big difference from a thousand feet.” On Sunday, multiple fans shared videos of the tight end capturing the new “Tortured Poets Department” segment of the event from the VIP suite.

Swift wore a dramatic white taffeta dress for the majority of the performance, but stripped down to a black crystal-embellished bra top and briefs on stage before singing “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” The championship-winning NFL great appeared to be particularly interested in the new number, whipping out his phone to film the occasion — with the flash turned on, of course.

Travis has seen multiple Eras Tour events in the past, but this was his first time seeing the updated version, which featured a new setlist, the “TTPD” set, and new clothing. Travis attended the hours-long show alongside Swift’s pal Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Bradley Cooper.

“Her latest iteration of the Eras Tour, I recommend everyone see it. It features her new ‘Tortured Poets Department,’ and a few of those songs are in the new performance, so there’s a new segment, new lights, new dancing, and everything,” he remarked. “I enjoyed every bit of it.”
