Molly Sims reveals she traveled two hours and hid behind a bush so her daughter Scarlett, nine, could meet Taylor Swift

Molly Sims recently recalled the ‘special’ story of her and her daughter Scarlett meeting Taylor Swift.

The model, 50, said she hid behind a bush just so her nine-year-old daughter and her pals could get a chance to meet the singer, 34, at her Eras Tour concert movie premiere.

She told Us Weekly on Friday that she and her daughter traveled two hours for the chance to meet Swift and ended up exchanging friendship bracelets with her.

The cover girl — who said she ‘pretty much’ starved herself in the early days of her career as a model — added it was a ‘dream come true’ for not only her daughter but herself.

The self-proclaimed ‘true Swiftie mom’ also gushed about the Fortnight hitmaker and called her ‘a really beautiful icon’ that her children look up to and she relates to as well.

Sims shares Scarlett as well as sons Brooks, 11, and Douglas, seven, with her husband Scott Stuber, 55.

The Yse Beauty founder recalled back in October 2023, she and her daughter decided to go to Swift’s concert movie premiere in Los Angeles.

‘We went to the concert movie premiere at The Grove,’ she said. ‘It took literally two hours to get there.’

She hilariously added that she went to great lengths for the opportunity to make sure Scarlett could meet Swift.

‘We hid behind a bush, we got to meet Taylor,’ she said. ‘Oh, it was amazing.’

Sims said they exchanged handmade bracelets with Swift, which is a trend that Swifties do at her concerts, before explaining why the experience was particularly memorable for both of them.

‘For someone like me who is 50 and to have a daughter who can like the same person. It’s so special,’ she said.

‘Taylor just represents such a really beautiful icon that my kids can look up to, but also that I can relate to,’ Sims continued before adding that she and Scarlett bonded over their love of the songstress.

Sims also revealed that she and Scarlett also have future plans to see Swift again and will be flying to either ‘Miami, Germany or Canada’ to catch one of her Eras Tour concerts. ‘It’s a really nice mother and daughter moment. We had the best time.’

She added: ‘I’m a true Swiftie mom. I think she is just [great].’

Sims also revealed that she and Scarlett also have future plans to see Swift again and will be flying to either ‘Miami, Germany or Canada’ to catch one of her Eras Tour concerts.

Explaining that they want to see the superstar perform songs from her newest album too, she also shared some of her favorite songs.

‘I’m excited that she’s adding new songs from The Tortured Poets Department and it’ll be good.’

On her favorites, she dished: ‘I would say Down Bad. Yeah. I love Florida!!! I love Fortnite. I love But Daddy, I Love Him. I love Don’t Be Afraid of Little Old Me.

‘I’ve listened to the entire album! I just love her lyrics. And her storytelling is phenomenal.’
