Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt says it’s ‘so special’ to watch Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s ‘love story unfold’ and is ‘so excited’ to have ‘young, female fans watching football’ amid the pop star’s appearances at Kansas City games

Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt has been gushing about the budding romance between the team’s tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Kelce and Swift have been dating since the summer and their love story has played out on the NFL stage with the pop star regularly attending his Chiefs games. 

The 12-time Grammy Award winner’s presence at Arrowhead Stadium has drawn a lot of media attention and with it a new demographic of NFL fans.

Gracie, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, was over the moon about the relationship between the two-time Super Bowl winner and the pop sensation – both for them and the franchise.

‘First of all, I think we’re all so excited to see two such phenomenal people happy,’ she said told Charly Arnolt on ‘OutKick the Morning.’

The pop sensation and Kelce have made headlines since they began dating in the summer

‘I mean, it’s so easy for us to cheer for and for the entire world to cheer for because they’re wonderful for each other, and it’s just been so fun to watch this love story unfold. So, that’s just been so special to see how happy they are.

‘And also, to have so many young, especially female fans, watching football, interested in football and maybe considering playing flag football and also cheering for the Chiefs.’

The Hunts appeared to have already given the romance their blessing earlier this month when they gave Swift a present for her birthday.

The Anti-Hero hitmaker celebrated her 34th birthday on December 13 in New York City but she spent the weekend before in Kansas City to support her NFL beau.

And during the Chiefs’ loss to the Buffalo Bills, Gracie and her sister Ava gifted Swift with a special birthday present.

The Hunt sisters went viral when they shared photos of themselves giving Taylor an expensive-looking present in Kelce’s suite during the team’s game against the Bills.

Social media had been awash with rumors of what the gift could have been and Tavia Hunt, wife of owner Clark, finally revealed the mystery present. 

In a post, one fan asked Tavia: ‘PLEASE — the world is dying to know what in the world you buy as a gift for Taylor Swift!?!!?!?’

And, playing to the pop superstar’s occupation, it has now been announced the Hunt family gave Swift a Judith Leiber Minaudieres Swarovski microphone purse, worth an eyewatering $4,995.

It was revealed that the Hunts gifted a Judith Leiber Minaudieres Swarovski purse to Swift

Kelce, now infamously, first tried to capture Swift’s attention when he attended her Eras Tour show at Arrowhead stadium in July, revealing on his New Heights podcast later in the summer that he made a friendship bracelet with his number on to give to the pop icon.

He failed to meet Swift behind the scenes of her sold-out tour but his podcast antics eventually caught her attention with the songstress revealing they began dating immediately.

‘This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,’ she told TIME magazine.

‘We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.’
