Caitlin Clark breaks ANOTHER record as the Iowa sensation surpasses Diana Taurasi for most women’s career 3-pointers at March Madness in championship rematch vs. LSU

Caitlin Clark notched her latest record in Iowa‘s Elite 8 win vs. LSU, as the Hawkeyes star passed Diana Taurasi for the most 3-pointers made in the women’s NCAA tournament during a 41-point masterclass on Monday.

Clark, who entered the game tied with the former UConn star on 61 career 3-pointers in March Madness, sank nine-of-20 treys as Iowa won 94-87 to advance to the Final Four.

Earlier this season, Clark also passed Pete Maravich to become the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer.

She is also the first D1 player in history with at least 3,800 points, 1,000 assists and 950 rebounds.

Iowa shot 41.9 percent (13-31) as a team from 3-point range.

LSU, meanwhile shot just 38.6 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three, with Angel Reese appearing to tell her teammates to ‘stop taking dumb shots.’

Reese scored 17 points on 21 shots while Flau’Jae Johnson led the team with 23 points.

Mikaylah Williams also added 18.

During last year’s national championship, which LSU won, Reese was seen taunting Clark by pointing at her ring finger and doing John Cena ‘s famous ‘You Can’t See Me!’ hand gesture.

However, the LSU center has since said there is no bad blood between the pair.

‘I don’t think people realize it’s not personal,’ Reese said ahead of the Elite Eight. ‘Once we get out between those lines, if I see you walking down the street, it’s like, “Hey, girl, what’s up? Let’s hang out.”‘

‘I think people just take it like we hate each other,’ Reese added. ‘Me and Caitlin Clark don’t hate each other. I want everybody to understand that. It’s just a super-competitive game.’

‘Once I get between those lines, there’s no friends,’ Reese continued. ‘I’m going to talk trash to you. I’m going to do whatever it takes to get in your head the whole entire game, but after the game, we can kick it. I don’t think people really realize that.’
