All of Taylor Swift’s Song Lyrics that Manifested Her Romance with Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift is well-known for the easter eggs and details she includes in her songs and other creations, but did her lyrics help manifest her romance with Travis Kelce?
The pop star’s eagle-eyed Swifties gathered together a list of Swift’s lyrics from her many albums and songs that can surprisingly relate to Kelce and their relationship, and you may be shocked by their similarities.
A Swift fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) whose username is @BetttysCardigan compiled the evidence in Swift’s lyrics with the help of other fans and shared it on the site, writing, “Taylor Swift lyrics that manifested Taylor and Travis’s relationship.”
The thread started off with the lyrics “I’ll be 87; you’ll be 89,” from “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)” from her self-titled album, noting that Kelce’s jersey number is 87, while both Swift and Kelce were born in 1989.
Next, Swift wrote “Knew he was a killer first time that I saw him” in “…Ready For It?” on Reputation. Referencing how Swift sings the line to make “killer” sound a bit like “killa,” fans highlighted how Kelce’s Instagram username is killatrav.
Fans brought together a lot of great connections, with the list including just under 20 examples. Another one is the line in “Cornelia Street” that says, “As if the streetlights pointed in an arrowhead leading us home,” with Kelce’s football team the Kansas City Chiefs’ hometown stadium called Arrowhead Stadium.

This line was pointed out by fans earlier due to the strangely direct connection to the name.
In “Begin Again,” Swift wrote, “But on a Wednesday in a café I watched it begin again,” while the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce episode in which Kelce talked about trying to give Swift his number—which arguably led to their relationship—was published Wednesday, July 26.
Fans also connected “The Archer” to Kelce’s signature arrow football pose, which they say is “almost identical” to choreography from Swift’s tour for the song. She also references a football player in “Stay Stay Stay” in the line, “That’s when you came in wearing a football helmet and said, ‘Okay, let’s talk.’”
One lyric that seems to really relate to both Swift and Kelce’s relationship and the media buzz around it is in “Mean.” The line is, “And I can see you years from now in a bar, talking over a football game with that same big loud opinion, but nobody’s listening,” with the fan explaining, “All of the people hating on Taylor can’t even avoid her anymore because she’s shown all over the NFL now.”
There are quite a few other possible connections from Swift’s lyrics to her relationship with Kelce included in the fan-created list, and there might be even more that Swifties highlight as time goes on. For now, Swift’s fans are enjoying seeing the singer happy as her relationship with Kelce blossoms.
The insane amount of money NFL star Travis Kelce shelled out on a private jet to see girlfriend Taylor Swift perform in Singapore
Travis Kelce is willing to spare no expense when it comes to his romance with Taylor Swift.

Kelce travelled from his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio to the city on March 7th with his entourage.
But the 19-hour trip to the Asian country and a refuelling stop in Dubai on the 10-seat private jet cost him $871,000, a source told The New York Post.
Kelce and his friends, including manager Andre Eanes, rocked up to the National Stadium to watch the popstar perform for two nights.

Videos shared to social media showed the sports star dancing and singing along to the concert from a suite, surrounded by his entourage.
The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl winner was filmed by fans taking his seat wearing a flamboyant white shirt emblazoned with a floral pattern.
At one point, the sports star was seen wiping his face with a towel as he enjoyed the show in Singapore’s humid conditions.
The trip came after Kelce flew to Sydney to attend Swift’s Eras Tour in March.
Aviation specialist Michael Giordan told Page Six that the price of a jet on the route he took was around $522,000.

The couple also spared no expense on their digs during the romantic weekend, staying at one of Sydney’s most extravagant resorts – the Crown Hotel.
They opted for the most glamorous – and priciest – room the hotel has to offer: the Crown Presidential Villa, which typically starts at an eye-watering $25,000 a night – however, it’s likely that Swift paid for this.
