Travis Kelce’s Teammate Jυstiп Reid Reveals How He Iпtrodυced Taylor Swift to the Team
Travis Kelce’s teammate, Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid, opened up about how the tight end first introduced Taylor Swift to the rest of the guys.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Golf Underground podcast, Reid — who has played alongside Kelce, 34, since 2022 — recalled Swift’s genuine kindness when the team met her on September 24 at a post-game celebration in Kansas City.
“The first night I met Taylor was actually the same night … that she was publicly in the stadium that everybody knew and that the cameras were all on her,” Reid, 27, shared.
“Travis rents out Prime Social, right downtown, and from Prime Social, he throws out a private party. All the players are invited and everybody at some point or another meets Taylor. And Taylor’s just awesome,” he explained. “She found a way to compliment everybody that she met that night.”
As for Kelce and Swift, 34, “They were enjoying themselves, having a good time,” Reid noted. “Everyone got a chance to meet her. It was a really organic space and it was a lot of fun.”
Avid Swifties will recall the game — and after-party — vividly, as it was the public debut of Swift and Kelce’s relationship. The Grammy winner cheered for Kelce alongside his mom, Donna Kelce, as the Chiefs went on to dominate the Chicago Bears in a 41-10 game.
Hours later, the couple were photographed partying into the night and cozying up at the bar.
Since the beginning of their romance — which was sparked by a July 2023 attempt by Travis to give Swift his number after one of her Kansas City Eras Tour shows — the pair haven’t been shy about their PDA, kissing in public on multiple occasions, including after the Chiefs’ big Super Bowl win in February.
“It was unbelievable,” Swift gushed to her boyfriend on camera. “That was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.”
For all the support the singer-songwriter has given Travis during the football season, he returned it earlier this month by traveling to Singapore with Swift on her Eras Tour.
The couple were most recently seen sharing a meal in Malibu after kissing on the beach during a vacation in the Bahamas.
Travis Kelce attends Chainsmokers Kentucky Derby gig with retired NBA star Chandler Parsons before trip to the Miami Grand Prix
Travis Kelce was seen hanging out with The Chainsmokers and retired NBA star Chandler Parsons at a Kentucky Derby concert ahead of the big race this weekend.
Kelce, who is set to attend the Miami Grand Prix with girlfriend Taylor Swift and Patrick and Brittany Mahomes on Sunday, appeared to catch up with the electronic band backstage at the Louisville gig on Friday night.
Chainsmokers duo Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart were performing at the Ice House venue as part of Sports Illustrated‘s Revel at the Races concert, which took place on the eve of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.
After he was seen enjoying the show with good friend Parsons, Kelce made an appearance on Pall’s Instagram story as he stood back to back with the former Houston Rockets player while smoldering into the distance.

The Chiefs star partied on stage with the electronic duo in Las Vegas after winning the Super Bowl in February
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end partied with Pall and Taggart after winning his third Super Bowl back in February, with the Grammy-winning artists playing Swift’s ‘You Belong With Me’ song while playing at the team’s afterparty in Las Vegas.
In a video which quickly went viral, Kelce hopped up on stage after hearing them play his girlfriend’s song, before singing along and pumping his fists in the air.
He also changed the lyrics in the song to ‘are you in love with me?’ before Swift was later heard telling Taggart that the tweak was ‘the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to me’.
Kelce also partied with the Chainsmokers after winning the Super Bowl in 2023, also in Las Vegas.
The NFL legend has been close friends with Parsons for quite some time, recently posing for photos with his good pal’s newly-born son and being dubbed ‘Uncle Trav’.
After lapping up the Chainsmokers’ Kentucky Derby gig, Kelce is set to head to Miami with Swift for Sunday’s Grand Prix in Florida.

The couple are also expected to be joined by Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, one week after the quartet enjoyed a double date in Vegas.
Kelce, Swift and the Mahomes’ followed up their night out in Sin City by heading to Chiefs quarterback Patrick’s fundraising event last Saturday, while the two Kansas City teammates then took part in a charity golf day the following morning.
The likes of Tom Brady, Kendall Jenner and Ed Sheeran are also in attendance in Miami this weekend as F1 drivers get ready to battle it out in front of a star-studded crowd.
