A BULLYING scandal gripped the movie world yesterday after Mission: Impossible star Rebecca Ferguson claimed a co-star made her cry on set.
Film fans speculated on the alleged offender’s identity — with Ewan McGregor, Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Grant among those suggested online as possibilities.

Others denied responsibility after Dune star Rebecca, 40, vowed never to work with the “idiot” again — claiming they had said to her “Call yourself an actor?” in front of colleagues.
Rebecca herself ruled out Mission: Impossible’s Tom Cruise and Aussie Hugh Jackman, who acted with her in The Greatest Showman in 2017.
Dwayne Johnson, who starred with her in 2014’s Hercules, called the Swede his “guardian angel” and jumped to her defence.
The Rock said: “I love this woman.
“I’d like to find out who did this.”
A representative for Emily Blunt, who starred with her in 2016’s The Girl on the Train, denied she was to blame after her name began circulating on social media.
Because this person was number one on a call sheet, there was no safety net for me . . . I would cry walking off set

Also mentioned were McGregor, who worked with her in 2019’s Doctor Sleep, and Gyllenhaal, who she starred with in 2017’s Life.
Michael Fassbender — in The Snowman in 2017 — and Hugh Grant in 2016’s Florence Foster Jenkins were also suggested by fans.
Rebecca spoke of the alleged bully on the podcast Reign with Josh Smith.
She said: “This person couldn’t get the scenes out and I think I was so vulnerable and uncomfortable that I got screamed at.
“Because this person was number one on a call sheet, there was no safety net for me . . . I would cry walking off set.”
Next day, she told the actor to turn around so she did not have to look at them in scenes. “I said, ‘You can ‘F’ off.
“I never want to see you again’.”
The Sun contacted Ewan McGregor and Hugh Grant for comment.
