Celebrity Big Brother fans hailed Fern Britton for calling out ‘game player’ Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu in Thursday night’s dramatic episode.

The two women have come to blows over the past few days and things came to a head during the face-to-face nominations.

Love Island star Ekin-Su, 29, nominated broadcaster Fern, 66, and vice versa leading to a savage war of words.

In her nomination speech Fern said about Ekin-Su: ‘I don’t get you, you don’t get me. I sometimes feel like you’re wearing a mask. You absorb other people’s personalities so easily.

‘You say that I haven’t asked you any questions but when I have I don’t find the answers that enlightening.

‘I feel like I don’t know the real you and that has disappointed me and disturbed me.’

Fans went wild over the interaction as they hailed Fern for calling out Ekin-Su for ‘not being real’.

One said: ‘FERN IS SO ONTO EKIN-SU AHAHAHA YES MOTHER #cbbuk.’

Another penned: ‘Fern not holding back on Ekin-Su, get her mother #CBBUK.’

A third said in reaction: ‘Fern’s monologue nominating Ekin-Su is SCRIPTURE! ‘It’s disturbed me’ HAHAH #CBBUK.’

A fourth said: ‘Fern ATE Ekin-Su up, spat her out, and then ate her again omg #CBBUK.’

Someone else said: ‘Fern absolutely eviscerating Ekin-Su #CBB #CBBUK.’

Another wrote on Twitter: ‘Yaaaas Fern, she has got Ekin-Su sussed. Get Ekin out #CBBUK.’

It comes after Ekin-Su and Fern clashed during a discussion about OnlyFans, whereby the presenter presumed the Love Island star had a profile on the subscription site – after which Ekin seemed to turn on the presenter. 

Speaking to several other housemates, she said: ‘This is what I see. When someone is nominated, that person acts even nicer towards me and I’m like, ‘Hmm. This person two days ago was not offering me a drink, wasn’t offering to help me, why now?’

‘I know what’s happening in here. I see when someone is being too nice to me. It’s fake, I saw it in Love Island when someone was too, too nice. I’m like, ‘This is not real, drop the mask’.’

After on Late & Live, a clip was then showed of Ekin-Su directly naming Fern as someone she felt was putting on an act, and said that she had seen the real Fern coming out.

In the Diary Room, she said: ‘There’s always a shift and change in here, up and down, up and down.

‘Nominations come and whoop, that person is really, really, really sweet and really nice. Nominations are over that person is still in the house and bam, I see it, I see it.’

She then confessed: ‘I hate to say this but I feel like one of those people is Fern. I sometimes see Fern being really nice and then sometimes she makes these comments, and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute. That was her, that was her personality coming out, that’s Fern. Got you’.

Ekin-Su had a tough night as she was also nominated by Marisha Wallace leading her to break down in tears.

Ekin-Su was angered by the nominations for her on Thursday night’s show, saying: ‘I knew this was gonna happen, this judging me because I’ve been on a show before.

‘You’ve been close to me this whole time, so you’ve been fake with me this whole time.’

Louis Walsh was nominated plenty of times too on Thursday night – after his scathing rant on Jedward earlier in the week.

Ekin-Su turns on Louis and puts him up for nomination in ‘tactical move’

Ekin-Su, David Potts, Fern, Levi Roots and Louis will be the next housemates to face the public vote ahead of Friday night’s double live eviction.

Louis received eight nominations from Bradley, Colson, David, Ekin-Su, Fern, Marisha, Nikita and Zeze.

Ekin-Su received four nominations from Bradley, Fern, Marisha and Zeze. David, Fern and Levi all received two nominations.

David was nominated by Levi and Louis. Fern was nominated by Ekin-Su and Nikita. Levi was nominated by Colson and David.
