Travis Kelce has joked about his current physique after photos of the Chiefs star rocking a ‘Dad bod’ on holiday with Taylor Swift surfaced last week.
Kelce and Swift, who have been dating publicly for the past six months, jetted to the Bahamas for a romantic getaway this month after the pop megastar wrapped up her latest round of Eras Tour concerts in Singapore.
Photographers caught the pair lapping up the sunshine at the beach on Thursday, with the Kansas City Chiefs star’s relaxed physique in the NFL offseason drawing attention on social media.
And on the latest episode of his and brother Jason’s New Heights podcast, which featured a special guest in new Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, Kelce joked that he is currently in the same weight class as his 283-pound sibling.
When Barkley asked the brothers who would win a drinking contest between them, Jason first said: ‘I can definitely drink more volume, I don’t even think that’s a question.’
Travis then said: ‘Whaaaaaat? You’re already down to 260.’
After Jason told him he actually weighs 283 pounds, the Chiefs tight end laughed: ‘We’re in the same weight class now. It’s March! We’re in the same weight class right now.’
Kelce enjoyed a holiday with Swift in the Bahamas while unwinding in the NFL offseason, having helped Kansas City become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champions for almost 20 years last term.
His girlfriend racked up thousands of air miles travelling to watch him play for the Chiefs last season, while he also headed out to Australia to support the singer and songwriter on her Eras Tour last month.
At the end of their latest podcast, Travis’ brother Jason made a not-so-subtle hint to romance with Taylor.
During a portion of their interview with new Barkley, the Eagles’ new signing talked about wanting to be the next Apollo Creed, one of the main characters from the ‘Rocky’ film franchise.
Jason then told Barkley to ‘throw it out there’ because ‘stuff happens when it goes out on New Heights’.
Those comments referenced Travis gushing over Swift on an episode over the summer after he attended her Eras Tour in Kansas City. The younger Kelce wanted to meet Swift at the show, going as far to make her a friendship bracelet, common among Swift’s fans, with his number on it.
Although the meeting did not originally happen at one of her concerts, Swift later said his shout out to her on ‘New Heights’ got her attention and kickstarted their romance.

The documentary has quickly become the No. 1 music film on Disney+.
According to Deadline, the 3.5-hour concert film has amassed 4.6 million views since it began streaming last Thursday.
Swift kicked off The Eras Tour on March 17, 2023 in Glendale, California, with 152 shows planned across five continents through the end of 2024.
Serving as a retrospective of her career, the 10-act show features 44 songs from her vast discography.
The Disney+ version of the concert film features performances of some of Swift’s newer songs.
