Make-up artist Lisa Armstrong, who was married to Ant McPartlin for 11 years and with him for 20, shared a defiant message on social media
Lisa Armstrong shared a defiant message on social media hours after she shared her support for ex-husband Ant McPartlin.
Before his and Dec Donnelly’s final episode of Saturday Night Takeaway aired, she joined fans in reacting to the latest instalment. The final episode featured an array of surprises and special guests – including Simon Cowell and Holly Willoughby – before the emotional duo delivered a tearful sign-off in the closing moments.
Viewers were quick to congratulate the pair and make-up artist Lisa was among those who shared her support. She liked a post calling the friends ‘simply the best’ as they celebrated their milestone achievement. She later took to her Instagram Stories to repost a defiant quote.
Lisa shared the quote: “And she gave zero f**ks,” which was written in pink font surrounded by pink flowers and hearts. The make-up artist and presenter Ant were married for 11 years, and together for a total of 20, when they shocked fans with the news of their divorce in 2018.

Things were not amicable between them during the split as Lisa filed for divorce because he became ‘intolerable to live with’, according to court documents. It got worse for Lisa, 47, as she learned that the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star swiftly moved on with their former PA Anne-Marie Corbett – who he married in 2021.
The former personal assistant worked with Ant and Lisa for six years and organised their 10th wedding anniversary in 2016. Lisa was even friends with Anne-Marie. However, one year later, something changed between the three and Lisa shared her dismay on X, formerly known as Twitter.
.
.She said she found out Ant started dating Anne-Marie through news headlines and responded to a fan. Lisa commented: “Yeah My friend and OUR PA who I let into OUR home”, concluding her message with a broken heart emoji.
Over the weekend, Lisa – who used to be close to her and Ant’s best man, Dec – liked a post on social media from her TV friend calling Ant and Dec ‘simply the best’. The post read: “After 20 years this amazing show is coming to an end it’s been a real joy & pleasure to have been there from the beginning, & in my 30-year career in showbiz I’ve worked with some brilliant people but these two are simply the best! Great friendships & memories made.”
The move was a huge change from her usual online pattern of ‘liking’ messages slamming her ex’s behaviour and navigating life without him.
