TV’s favourite power couple Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez are reportedly ‘planning to buy a family home in Spain‘.
The former glamour model, 39, and the Strictly alum, 33, will be settling down in the sunny country so that they can also ‘spend more time’ with Gorka’s family.
The pair first met on the hit BBC dancing competition in 2017 when they were partnered together, and later became engaged.
The couple share son Thiago, six months, and daughter Mia, four.
‘We want to get somewhere so that we always have a home from home. It would help me with mine [and the children’s] Spanish and Gorka’s parents could drive down,’ Gemma told The Mirror.

‘It’s something we are hoping to do by the end of this year. We love Spain.’
The former actress admitted they are coping ‘alright’ with their now family of four and said Mia is ‘a fantastic sister’ who gets full-on with his little brother Thiago.
Giving an example, she said: ‘We were a bit late for school today and she’d forgotten to give him a kiss before we left, so she had to run back in the house and give him a kiss before we left. So we’re very lucky.’
Gushing over her family, Gemma their nest is like a ‘nice little complete family with chaos’, summing it up as: ‘Two kids, two dogs, and a Spaniard.’
The Hits Radio presenter also spilled the beans on their date nights, confessing they rather enjoy staying at home.
Former Hollyoaks star Gemma and Gorka seem to have plans to juggle a very busy agenda, as they have recently confirmed a second season of their family documentary Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens.
The show gives an insightful, real look into the family’s life as they juggle busy work diaries with their home life.
The previous season saw the couple sharing intimate details of their lives as they document the imminent arrival of their second child.

Meanwhile, Gorka has also become a judge in the Spanish version of Strictly Come Dancing, which will see him taking on a gruelling filming schedule in Madrid.
The goal of having a Kardashian-esque reality show has become the latest trend among the stars, but Gemma revealed that viewers should not expect perfection from their fly-on-the-wall family series.
Unlike the Kardashians, the mother-of-two is keeping her show open and honest as she admitted that they still have dogs pooing in the garden and kids to run to school.
They do not have butlers or nannies running around after their four-year-old daughter Mia nor their six-month-old son Thiago and food still needs to be put on the table every night.
Opening up about the new show, Gemma said: ‘I’ve had mums message me saying how grateful they are that it’s not like a big glam squad with hair and makeup, an ”everything’s perfect” type show.
‘We didn’t want it polished, pristine and perfect because that’s not what day-to-day life is. It’s chaos; it’s burning the toast in the morning, the dog pooing in the garden while I’m trying to feed the birds, the manic school run, Gorka packing to go to leave for work for a few days.
‘It’s just very relatable in that most families do that kind of nonsense. And unless you’re a Kardashian with butlers, nannies and chefs, which is amazing, life’s not like that. It’s the exact opposite and full on. I think that’s why people liked it so much.’
It the series – which will air later this year on UKTV’s free-to-air entertainment channel W and streaming service UKTV Play – Gemma will be seen in the last days of her maternity leave as she prepares to return to work in April after giving birth to Thiago in July last year.
Twinkle-toed star Gorka will be fresh off the back of his most recent stint on Strictly before taking on a building project and enjoying a trip to his hometown in Spain.
With Gemma’s first children’s book release and her ongoing training journey, their lives are anything but quiet.
Having little time in their hectic schedule, the couple are determined to make the most of the precious time they have together with Mia and baby Thiago.
Helen Nightingale, UKTV’s head of factual and factual entertainment, said: ‘I’m so excited to have Gemma and Gorka back on our screens for a second series.

The Kardashians, known for their lavish lifestyles, enlist the help of nannies and assistants, which Gemma insists is nothing like her family life
‘Their warm and relatable relationship, and hilariously unfiltered moments from series one, have left audiences wanting more and I can’t wait to see what else the family have in store for us in this next instalment.’
Adam Collings, channel director for W, said: ‘It’s fantastic news that we’re getting a second helping of Gemma and Gorka on W.
‘Our viewers have loved getting to know the family behind closed doors so I’m thrilled that they can continue to do so in this new series which promises more heartfelt and honest moments.’
