Britain’s Got Talent seems to be involved yet again in another fix row as enraged fans called out professional singer Taryn Charles.
The special education teacher, 39, was branded the show’s ‘best ever’ Golden Buzzer act after Bruno Tonioli sent her through to the semi-finals following her incredible performance on Saturday’s episode.
The BGT star also revealed she had previously met Simon when she was just 15 years old, when he worked at a record label near her home and claimed she told him of her dream.
But some viewers were left very unimpressed, rushing on X to remark that Taryn is already a professional singer – therefore making ‘unfair’ the competition for amateur talents.
‘Yet again another professional singer?? Taryn Charles. What has happened to #BGT ?,’ commented one person.

The BGT star, 39, revealed she had previously met Simon, 64, when she was just 15 years old, when he worked at a record label near her home and claimed she told him of her dream
‘Taryn Charles is already a professional singer, so you would expect her to have a good voice. Not fair on all the amateurs #BGT,’ a second echoed.
‘Another one with a career on stage masquerading as a.n amateur #BGT’; ‘Taryn Charles – another professional singer. #BGT’.
Another person quoted a previous tweet adding a pointing arrow emoji: ‘#BGT Taryn Charles a Professional Singer.’
Taryn – who is a singing tutor and music therapist for children with special needs – also revealed that she has ADHD which led to her being excluded from three schools.
However, she claimed that she often found solace in the school’s music room when things became too much for her.
When approached by MailOnline, a BGT representative said: ‘As has always been the case, BGT is open to all regardless of your level of previous experience.
‘Hopefully the show will give Taryn the platform she needs to take her talents to the next level and help achieve her dream.’
The star blew the judges and audience away with her speculator rendition of (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin.

However, this is not the first time the contestant has met the music mogul, 64, as she revealed that she once confidently told him ‘You’re gonna give me a record deal one day.’
The music mogul then appeared shocked at the revelation but struggled to remember them ever meeting.
Taryn said: ‘From a young age, I looked up to Simon. When I was growing up, he worked at a record label near our house. I met him when I was 15 and said to him, “You’re gonna give me a record deal one day”.’
Taryn’s precocious courage was all but then forgotten as she performed a memorable act on stage and sent London Palladium’s audience into a frenzy as they chanted ‘Golden Buzzer’.
In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, the contestant revealed: ‘I don’t think I’ve ever felt anything like that nervous before.
‘I don’t remember the Golden Buzzer moment at all. I remember jumping up and down and suddenly screeching that I’d wet myself.
‘I hadn’t really, but it was the only thing I could think of to say. I didn’t feel I sang my best, so the Golden Buzzer was very unexpected.
Other viewers branded Taryn the show’s ‘best ever’ golden buzzer act and claimed she was ‘incredible’.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one wrote: ‘The best Golden Buzzer pick I’ve ever seen’ while another added: ‘That was special. Most deserved Golden Buzzer in a very long time’.
‘WOW TARYN WHAT A VOICE!!! Another Golden Buzzer worthy performance’: ‘I think she was great tbf she did deserve the Golden Buzzer in my opinion’: ‘Wow she was incredible’: ‘Taryn deserved the Golden Buzzer. She has an Incredible voice. Brilliant choice from Bruno’.

This was not the first performance of the episode that left BGT viewers unimpressed – as they branded Danny Platinum’s audition a ‘set-up’.
The 29-year-old was first to perform and took to the London Palladium stage before suddenly deciding to exit and execute his freestyle on the red carpet outside the iconic theatre.
Despite his quick decision eagle eyed viewers noticed that the cameras and microphones were set up ready and Danny didn’t have to miss a beat as he ran out into the London street.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one bemoaned: ‘Handpicked produced set up within an inch of it’s life’ – but while fans were left fuming the judges were overjoyed and Danny sailed through to the next round with four yeses.
Other viewers wrote: ‘First act of the night and not the first or least set up act of this show. Britain has no talent would be a better title’: ‘Not set up too much then’: ‘well like this isn’t a set up’: ‘”Let’s take it outside” Like it’s random’.

And last week viewers threatened to call Ofcom after three acts from Japan auditioned for the show.
Disgruntled fans admitted that they believed the show should be for British people because of its name and wanted to take the issue to the UK TV regulator.
Viewers were less than impressed when show judge Simon gave his Gold Buzzer away to Cyberagent Legit, a professional Japanese dancing act.
They were a beatboxing group called Sarukani, a drone operator called Keiichiro Tani and then dance troupe Cyberagent Legit all performed.
And while there are no restrictions about where an act comes from, viewers have formed their own opinions and flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts.
