Mike Tyson has been sharing training videos ahead of his fight with Jake Paul this summer – but some fans have been left concerned by the length of the clips

Boxing enthusiasts have raised concerns after scrutinizing Mike Tyson’s recent training footage in anticipation of his bout with Jake Paul.

Observant fans have pointed out a potential issue with the boxing icon’s latest video as he prepares for the upcoming summer fight.

Heavyweight icon Tyson, is set to face off against Paul in a fight that has stirred up quite a bit of controversy but was recently approved to proceed as a professional fight.

The two are scheduled to go head-to-head in an eight-round contest with two-minute rounds, donning 14oz gloves, a step up from the standard 10oz.

As Tyson will be 58 at the time of the fight – nearly three decades older than Paul – some fans are voicing their worries about the well-being of the once undisputed champion.

Despite Tyson sharing several training clips that seem to showcase his enduring speed and power, sharp-eyed viewers have noted that these videos are notably brief.

“There’s a reason this is just six seconds long,” remarked one viewer on Tyson’s most recent upload where he challenges Paul by asking if he’s “ready or not? “. Another commenter expressed affection but also concern: “Bro I love you but I don’t think it’s a wise move.”

Additionally, a couple of spectators suggested that there might be some clever editing and camera tricks at play: “Edits go hard lololol,” chuckled one, while another commented on the camera’s effectiveness: “The camera is doing its job too.”

Tyson himself has confessed to being completely wiped out for a week after a particularly grueling training session. In a candid conversation with podcast king Joe Rogan, Tyson revealed the intense aftermath of his workout.

Rogan had been in awe, remarking, “When I was watching you hit the pads, I was thinking, ‘This isn’t just working out’. There was something going on man. When you were working out with [trainer Rafael] Cordero and you were ripping into the body and throwing those hooks, I was like, ‘This is a man who is preparing to go to combat. That’s why, when I saw the video, I was like..”

Interrupting, Tyson shared, “You want me to tell you something about that video? I did that video and I was in bed for a week. That was 30 seconds and I was in bed for a week. And it’s not funny, because it made me realise this is big boy s***.”
