This Morning ‘s Craig Doyle was left fighting back tears on Thursday following a sweet moment with his son live on air.

During the latest instalment, presenter Craig, 53, interviewed legendary actor Jeff Goldblum alongside his co-star Sian Welby. However, it wasn’t long until chat got onto Craig’s family, where the camera zoomed onto his son Quinn, 22, who was in the studio behind-the-scenes.

After Jeff, 71, quizzed Quinn on his language skills, he then started singing to the youngster to which Craig joked his son was embarrassed. Craig said: “Poor Quinny, this is his worst nightmare! I ought to hug him, oh baby, I’m so sorry” to which he hugged his red-faced son live on air.

Sian, 37, then said: “First day in the studio and he’s met Jeff Goldblum, he’s been embarrassed by dad, I love it!” to which Jeff then ran and gave Quinn a hug too. However, Craig was left emotional over the moment as he fought back tears and asked Sian to take over hosting duties.
