Ben Shephard excitedly issued an update on the future of his ITV game show, Tipping Point, after returning to This Morning alongside Cat Deeley.
Ben Shephard was delighted to confirm that his ITV game show, Tipping Point, will be returning with brand new episodes this afternoon (Monday, September 2).
The presenter, 49, shared the news following his return to This Morning on Monday morning alongside Cat Deeley.
Sharing what was coming up in the show, Ben said: “Since Coin Drop is back here in the studio, I’m very excited that there is brand new episodes of Tipping Point!”
Cat chimed in, referring to Ben’s newly debuted facial hair: “Will it be a clean-shaven Tipping Point?” Ben replied: “I think it will be a clean-shaven Tipping Point, yeah!
“There are brand new episodes of Tipping Point and brand new episodes of The Chase, so it’s all back and brand new on ITV this afternoon.”

Tipping Point will return to ITV today (September 2) at 4pm, with The Chase straight after at 5pm.
Additionally, Tipping Point’s celebrity spin-off, Tipping Point Lucky Stars, will be back with new episodes on Sunday (September 8).
The spin-off sees famous faces take on the machine in the hopes of winning £20,000 for a charity of their choice. The stars in the first episode are John Barnes, Charlotte Church and Stephen Bailey.
Elsewhere in Monday’s episode of This Morning – the first Ben and Cat have presented since their summer break – the former Good Morning Britain presenter made an emotional admission about his family life.
Ben explained as his family photo was displayed on the screen: “Sam came home from travelling, which was very, very emotional. That was the first day he was back, and we went for a walk through the park, and then we went to the pub… every now and again I walk past and [my wife] is just gazing at him.”
Ben’s son Sam, 18, has been travelling for seven months before heading to university next week.
Ben also shares another son, Jack, 16, with his wife Annie.
The couple have been married for 20 years after meeting while studying at the University of Birmingham.
This Morning airs on ITV on weekdays at 10am. Ben and Cat host the program Monday to Thursday, while Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary take the reigns on Fridays.
