Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler at UFC 303
UFC CEO Dana White announced Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler’s fight for June; fighters will fight in UFC 303 on June 29 in Las Vegas. The announcement was made during the aftermath of UFC 300 on Saturday night.
Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler have been preparing for their battle for over a year. The bout was initially supposed to take place on TUF 31 last summer, with the two coaches coaching opposite each other. However, it never happened.
The main event of the evening is scheduled to take place at welterweight and last five rounds. Since November 2016, McGregor has only triumphed in one bout, and Chandler has not competed in mixed martial arts since November 2022.
Both men have engaged in five-round matches in the past, but only McGregor has held both the lightweight and featherweight UFC titles concurrently, while Chandler has never held a title.
