The boxing world was in for a treat as two significant stars were set to clash. Ryan Garcia was about to take on Devin Haney. The build-up to this fight was insane as lost verbal jabs were exchanged, and the fighters’ entourage even got into a physical altercation. Ryan Garcia emerged victorious in the twelve-round fight in the boxing ring. Immediately after the fight, Garcia called many fighters out, including UFC Champion Sean O’Malley.

Sean O’Malley did not waste any time poking fun at Ryan after his victory on his social media handle.

Ryan Garcia defied the odds and made everyone who bet against him upset after he won put up a clinic against Devin Haney. Haney couldn’t deal with Ryan’s left hook as Ryan made him touch the mat thrice during their twelve-round fight. Ryan Garcia was quick to call out Sean O’Malley after the fight in the press conference. He also called for a battle with some of the best fighters in the boxing world. Ryan said,

I am going to fight Fondura. I am going to go up to 154. I am going to knock him the f*ck out. Sleep him cold. Just like the other dude did. I have fought guys even bigger than that before. Sean O’Malley could catch that shit in cage. Crawford could get it too.

O’Malley and Ryan Garcia have been going at each other for quite some time now. O’Malley, after Ryan’s fight, posted a clip on his social media handle poking fun at Garcia’s stance. Sean O’Malley has previously clarified that Garcia stands no chance against him in the octagon. Sean O’Malley is a versatile fighter in the UFC. He has got some elite ground game and is an elite striker.

Ryan Garcia and Sean are the best strikers in MMA and boxing. If Garcia steps inside the MMA octagon, dealing with Sean’s kicks and grappling pedigree will be difficult. There has never been a time when a boxer switched to MMA and emerged victorious. It’ll be interesting to see if Ryan will put his money where his mouth is and fight Sean O’Malley.
