Steph Curry is currently missing games after suffering from an ankle injury.
Some stars play essential roles in the team by not just performing but also bringing factors such as leadership, which makes it hard for the teams to win without a strong force in the form of a veteran or a star player.
The Golden State Warriors are going through a similar situation at the moment. The Warriors star Stephen Curry is currently injured he twisted his ankle during the game against the Chicago Bulls.
After evaluation, there was no sign of major damages, but the player reportedly will miss multiple games. The Warriors lost against the San Antonio Spurs in Curry’s first absence.
Warriors fans were disappointed by the loss, as the 15th-seed Spurs were also missing their star Victor Wembanyama. But things changed right in the next game.
Warriors played against the Spurs again with Wembanyama this time in the team, and won 112-102 in a team effort. After the game, in the press conference Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was asked about the win without Curry.
"I don't expect him to play in Dallas."

Kerr also mentioned about that while discussing the win. He said:
Yeah we needed that. Obviously, we'll reassess tomorrow but I don't expect him to play in Dallas.
The HC talked about the Warriors’ current ‘fight’ in the regular season and added gaining confidence by winning without Curry. The coach added:
Good to get the win and build some confidence without Steph, too.
Steph Curry injured his right ankle against the Chicago Bulls
In the game against the Bulls on Thursday, Steph Curry, with 3:51 remaining in the fourth quarter twisted his right ankle which led him to exit the game. The Warriors ended up losing the game 122-125 at home, and the fans were worried as the star was in visible pain and the twist looked scary.
After the evaluation, The Warriors gave an update about the guard’s injury. The player’s MRI indicated no structural damage to the joint. And they confirmed the injury to be a strained ankle.
They also reported that the player would not play both games against the Spurs and would be reevaluated on Tuesday. But according to Kerr, Curry is likely to miss the game against the Mavericks as well.
After losing the first game without Curry and then winning the next was essential for the Warriors. Being the 10th seed in the Western Conference, the team cannot afford to lose multiple games.
Kerr was talking about the current situation in the regular season, as teams are now getting eliminated from the playoffs; the race for qualifying in the play-ins will get difficult. The Warriors will play against the Dallas Mavericks on today.
