Angel Reese isn’t happy with Meta, and she made sure the social media giant knew it. She took to Instagram to express her frustration as the platform temporarily stopped working worldwide. The LSU Lady Tigers star was perplexed as to why the app wasn’t loading and almost lost her cool over the situation.

Reese is an avid social media user who regularly keeps her fans updated about significant events in her life. However, Tuesday morning witnessed both Facebook and Instagram, both owned by Mark Zuckerberg’s company, going down globally. Reese, a prominent figure in college basketball, posed the question to Meta regarding the platform’s connectivity issues.

Here’s what LSU Lady Tigers forward Angel Reese had to say about the entire fiasco on Tuesday.

“Now Instagram what’s going on?????? Why isn’t anything loading?” she posted on the Elon Musk-owned platform.

While the company didn’t directly respond to Reese’s post, Meta spokesperson Andy Stone issued a separate statement acknowledging the issue. He mentioned that they were actively working to resolve it promptly. Eventually, the services were restored, and users, including Reese, regained access to their accounts.

The outage was initially reported around 10 AM ET on Tuesday, with users being logged out of their profiles, according to Down Detector. Fortunately, by noon, functionality seemed to be restored.

Angel Reese, valued at 1.7 million NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) according to On3, boasts 2.6 million followers on Instagram. Shortly after the social media platform resumed its services, she expressed gratitude to God for being named SEC Player of the Year.
