Even an ejection doesn’t hinder one’s admiration for Michael Jordan. Last year, it wasn’t just you, but the entire fan base that was left astounded when Stephen A. Smith read Jordan’s message to him during his show.
It was shortly after Stephen Curry proclaimed himself as the best point guard of all time. Jordan’s message to Smith clearly stated the 6x NBA champion’s feelings as he stated Magic Johnson is still ahead of the Chef.
2 months later, Curry explained that MJ’s answer was based on a “generational gap.”
But despite being rejected by Jordan from the best point guard title, Curry has harbored no bias against His Airness. During a recent interview, the 4x NBA champion was asked to name a basketball player with whom he wanted to share the court at least once. C

7 months ago, during an appearance on Gilbert Arenas’ show, Curry boldly stated that he is the best point guard of all time.
While many came forward to support the Warriors star, that comment also pushed some famed names and basketball pundits into another debate involving Magic Johnson.
That also included Chicago Bulls legend, Michael Jordan.
Apparently, MJ sent an early morning text to ESPN host Stephen A. Smith to express his opinion on the matter. Here is what went down.

Debate on the best point guard between Stephen Curry and Magic Johnson
Soon after Curry’s comment, Smith in his morning show shared Michael Jordan’s message with the viewers.
As per the ESPN analyst, the message read, “Although greatest of anything is always a debate, I beg to differ on greatest point guard of all-time… Magic Johnson is easily the best point guard of all time. Steph Curry is very close, but not in front of Magic.”
It wasn’t surprising to see how Jordan’s message immediately went viral on social media.
Both Johnson and Jordan have shared the court together before.
The two teamed up for the Dream team back in 1992.
Certainly, he knows more about Johnson’s playing style.
However, one of the biggest sports stars in the league siding with the Los Angeles Lakers legend was bound to be up for debate.

Magic Johnson also shared his insights with the fans. In an interview with CBS Sports radio, Johnson shared,
“If he’s got more than No. 1 in assists all-time in the Finals, No. 2 in double-doubles, No. 1 in triple-doubles all-time in the NBA playoffs, No. 4 in steals all-time in the in playoffs. If he’s got more than those numbers, then he’s the best.”
On the other hand, Curry also shared that the debate is “unsolvable” which is why there is no end to the discussion.
