Love Island’s Grace Jackson and Reuben Collins have apparently split less than three weeks after the show because of their hectic schedules and the fact they live so far apart

Love Island couple Grace Jackson and Reuben Collins have reportedly broken up.

The pair got together on the ITV dating show this summer and had been trying to make a go of it after being dumped from the villa ahead of the final. But it seems their budding romance has fizzled out and they have now called time on their relationship less than three weeks after the series ended.

It’s said their hectic schedules and the fact they live miles apart were both a part of their “mutual decision” to go their separate ways. But the pair plan to stay friends even though their romance hit the rocks.

“Grace and Reuben have come to the mutual decision a romantic relationship isn’t right for either of them at this time,” an insider told The Sun. “Grace wishes Reuben all the best and vice versa. They will remain friends and have no bad feelings towards each other.”

An extra complication for their blossoming romance was the fact that it had to be long distance, because Grace has gone home to Manchester since her stint in the villa and Reuben is based in London, which is more than 150 miles away from the blonde model.

The pair had got together later in the latest series of Love Island, after Grace already had an intense coupling with Joey Essex. Fans weren’t totally convinced of their compatibility and they ended up being voted the couple least likely to work on the outside.

There was plenty of drama as Grace and Reuben were selected as the decision meant that the pair were dumped from the ITV show. They missed out on a spot in the final, which saw Josh Oyinsan and Mimii Ngulube crowned the winners.

Love Island fans don’t seem to be too surprised at reports of the model and footballer ending things, with a couple posting about it on X. “Grace & Reuben lasted longer than I expected tbh,” one person admitted. “I will pretend to be shocked,” quipped someone else.
