Ronnie shared his response after cheating rumours circulated

LOVE Island couple Ronnie Vint and Harriett Blackmore have split just weeks after leaving the villa, after cheating claims.

The couple endured a rocky romance during their time on the show, but they seemed to be making things work on the outside.

But now, a source has confirmed their split, and told The Sun: “They tried to make it work outside the villa but both have been so busy since getting home they’ve not been able to dedicate enough time to it.”

Ronnie, who is nicknamed Turbo Ronnie, was accused of cheating on Harriett last month – just days after leaving the villa.

We told how he’d been spotted with a stunning teacher, 21, after a night out in Milton Keynes at city hotspot Blossom Room.

Then The Sun revealed they’d secretly split before patching things up on the same day.

But, then it appeared their relationship was in trouble again as Ronnie, 28, was heard on the phone to Harriett, 24, arguing at his launch party, which was attended by the likes of Joey Essex, Jessy Potts, Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel.

Ronnie was audibly fuming with Harriet, who didn’t arrive until after 11:00pm with fellow islanders Matilda Draper and Uma Jammeh, with the girl group having all been to Ibiza partying.

But Ronnie has since addressed rumours of cheating and their relationship, and told The Sun at the time that he was even thinking of making Harriett his girlfriend in the coming days.

Talking at his Eggi Boff launch, he explained: “I’ve been doing PAs, and obviously I’m going to take photos with girls and whatever, but there is nothing else, and she knows that, and obviously that’s the life we live now.

“If someone is close friends with me, and I’m talking to her, someone is going to try to take a photo, and that’s what it can look like. She obviously knows that deal, and what happened, because I went back that night and I FaceTimed her in bed, so she knew straight away that nothing happened, but then the story came out.

“Being around Liv and Brad [Dack] – I’ve seen what people message – you’ve just got to be thick-skinned because someone wants to earn a little bit of money of a story, and obviously we know what’s real, and that is that.”

Ronnie continued: “Even when the story came out, I said to Harriett, I FaceTimed you that night, so she knew straight away what happened, so it was brushed under, and other than that we’ve been so good.

“We just had a little trip to Italy together. I met her family, and she’s met mine – the parents, and everything is going so well. I’m really looking forward to our next chapter together.”

Ronnie also revealed at the time that he’d already been rejected once by his Love Island sweetheart, when asking her to be his girlfriend.

He continued: “I’ve asked her already when we were in bed together and she said, ‘Why are you doing it here?’ I said, ‘I just want to be real, and do it here.’

“I don’t need a big reaction, and likes. I just want to be real with what we’re doing. I thought it was a real moment, but she said no at the time, but it’s coming because she loves me and I love her.”
