BILLIE EILISH was last night announced as the youngest-ever singer of the theme tune to a James Bond movie.
I can exclusively reveal the 18-year-old flew into London to record the title track for No Time To Die — Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007 — in a secret session three weeks ago.

But she wouldn’t get a job with MI6. Billie nearly blew her cover by posting about her visit on Instagram. She shared a snap of herself in the capital on Christmas Eve, then quickly deleted it over fears fans would ask why she was in the UK.
Billie said last night: “James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock. It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour.”
Billie has co-written the song with her older brother Finneas O’Connell, who also worked on her multi-million-selling debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? It hit No1 in the UK last year, while breakout single Bad Guy reached No2.
DUA Lipa and Beyonce had been hotly tipped to record the theme for the 25th Bond movie, which will be released on April 3.

It is believed Billie jetted here to put the finishing touches to the track at the famous Abbey Road Studios in West London just days after her 18th birthday.
Now there are high hopes she can complete a Bond Oscar hat-trick — after Sam Smith won with Writing’s On The Wall, from 2015’s Spectre, and Adele’s track triumphed for Skyfall in 2012.
Last night the film’s producers, Barbare Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, gave a hint at what fans can expect from the song.
They said Billie and Finneas had “written an incredibly powerful and moving song for No Time To Die, which has been impeccably crafted to work within the emotional story of the film”.

I’ve never sobbed at a Bond film before, but from the sound of it I had better get my tissues at the ready.
COMPILATION album Now That’s What I Call Music is to host club nights. Hits from the Eighties, Nineties and Noughties will be on the playlist at O2 Ritz in Manchester on January 26 and London’s Scala on February 1.
A Lil help needed
HOT on the heels of Victoria Beckham looking for an assistant, Lily Allen is also on the hunt for one.

Last week I gave a realistic job description of what applicants should expect as part of Posh’s staff. So I feel it is my duty to tell anyone considering working for Lily exactly what they might have in store.
Professional as ever, she posted the multi-coloured advert on her Instagram, writing: “I need an assistant. Experience required and references. Full of energy and enthusiasm.” She urged anyone interested to message her.
Then minutes after sharing the ad on Monday, she moaned: “When your boiler has conked out and you have rats in the ceiling.”
So anyone who fancies the job will probably have to deal with those things first, although I’m sure there are plenty of other tasks you would have to get on with.
On the right is my handy, tongue-in-cheek checklist for a day as Lily’s assistant . . .
Selena’s orange in Big Apple
SELENA Gomez hit the Big Apple in orange as she promoted her new album Rare.

But she wasn’t as bright and breezy as her suit when discussing the record, saying she felt compelled to release it to have her say on her split from Justin Bieber.
She said: “There came a point where there were so many things being said on my behalf, and I found myself protecting people who didn’t really protect me, because
I didn’t really want to start anything. But I had a right to say my side of the story. I felt like that was so liberating. Because it almost felt like I had let it go, personally, inside of me, once it was out.”
The pair started dating in 2010 and were on and off until 2018, when they split for good. Justin married Hailey Baldwin six months later.
I doubt he will be in a rush to listen to Selena’s album.
JENNIFER Lopez wants to leave the US for a life that is, “simple and organic”. She told Van- ity Fair mag: “I would love to live somewhere other than the United States, in a small town in Italy, or on the other side of the world, in Bali.”
Noel plans time out & won’t look back
LIAM Gallagher last week claimed his brother Noel wanted an Oasis reunion, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Instead of pushing forward with music, Noel has revealed he wants to take time out to be with his wife and three kids when his band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds tour ends later this year.
He said: “I’m ready to call it a day, actually. I’m ready to stop touring for a while. I’m ready to take a big chunk of time off. I can see myself not producing as much material and touring every five to six years, as opposed to every two or three.
“I’m 52 now. By the time I finish the next tour I’ll be 58, so that’s nearly 60. You don’t know how you’re going to feel physically. You’re gonna think, ‘Can I be f***ing a***d to be away from the kids?’”
Noel has daughter Anais, 19, from his time with Meg Mathews, and sons Sonny, nine, and Donovan, 12, with wife Sara MacDonald. He will release his Blue Moon Rising EP in March, having scored three No1 albums since quitting Oasis in 2009.
On the Funny How? With Matt Morgan podcast he added of his songwriting: “I think I will always write.” To be fair, he’s made enough dough, he deserves to enjoy it.
